“Two things that aren’t obvious on the booking: 1. The Spa and Gym are not included in the price. These are an extra charge even though the description implies they are included. 2. There are no blinds/curtains in the room (they can’t be fitted because the building is listed). Eye masks are provided but if you’re a light sleeper then one to avoid. The property is in a stunning building, a lovely area of the harbour and has been well renovated and looked after. ”

“We was very impressed with our stay, the property was perfect for us as a family of 4. Lovely spacious bedrooms with very comfy beds& 2 bathrooms. The place was spotless & had everything we needed. Very peaceful with parking& the host was very helpful. kids loved the table tennis. Location was amazing with private access to the royal William yard. Stunning rocky beach a few minutes walk away. We will definitely recommend to others & be back again one day”

“The steps you encounter are not mentioned. And are near vertical. A ladder brings you up to the back garden. The door to the property is the only way in or out and the only daylight. Steps down to the kitchen. 3 foot fall to bathroom and dungeon style chamber. Lightning is extremely limited and everything is painted black. No steps provided to get into bed. Great if you’re in your 20’s and don’t want to sleep. Great if you want a swinging party of 6 guests. Not great if you’re in your 50’s……

“This property is beautiful and located perfectly to watch the port and locals. The promenade is prefect for roller skating, skate boarding or bike riding and the view is just gorgeous. The property itself was surprisingly large with the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen in the basement which really helped cope with the warm weather, not to mention the history behind it. Would recommend this property to everyone.”
