“Our group of two families stayed here on our way from San Jose to Manzanillo on the Caribbean side. It was close to the airport, easy to find, beautiful and clean, and in the perfect location. Our host was friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay here again!”

“First Shayna was quick to respond and so we choose to stay a night on our way from the Caribbean side to the Pacific side. We arrived at Vista de Paz late afternoon and were greeted by a very nice gentleman, Guillermo. He showed us around the home and then the grounds. Before leaving for the evening made sure we had a fire going and we had enough firewood. Due to all the traveling I had requested a cook for the evening. Carman arrived and prepared a wonderful dinner prepared from produce from……

“The host was wonderful and even brought us a fruit welcome. The home is great and bedrooms are set to either side of spacious common area, full kitchen, and an amazing deck that looks out over the town and volcano. We had an incredible stay!”

We would go out for the day and come back but you won’t want to come up and down that mountain at night so we had food with us. The thermal pools are a great suggestion. Loved it. ”

“The property is appointed nicely with all of its furnishings and decor. Very comfortable. No issues whatsoever except that my gps thought it was on the other side of the street....LOL...but once I figured that out it was a breeze - and certainly not the property owners fault.”

“Wow, what an incredible slice of heaven. Feels like you’re a million miles away from civilization. Waking up to the sounds of the birds in the morning, dinner with Gregory (host) and sitting on the porch in the evening were highlights of the stay. It’s a commitment to get up and down the road and 4wd is essential. As such I’d recommend staying at least 2 nights w/o going down. Hosts offers horseback rides and guided hikes around the property. Might be worth checking out. Sure, the accommodations……
