“As an architecture buff I enjoyed staying in this 150 year old historic building. It is in the heart of “old” Nitra within walking distance of parks, restaurants, the riverfront and shopping. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Although it’s not the “grand” hotel it once was, it’s very good value and we would definitely stay here again.”

“Cozy, small hotel. Me and my husband stayed for a weekend to attend a dog show with our dog. No problem to stay with a large dog, and the staff was very friendly. There is a 15 euro fee per night per dog, and they dont take debit card only credit or cash. The price is very cheap, and we are happy with the quality compared to price and will book again in the future. The room was not cleaned in the 3 nights we stayed there, and we ran out of toilet paper and clean towels and had to ask for……

Die Besitzer sind wirklich sehr! freundlich, zuvorkommend und bemühen sich um persönlichen Kontakt (zb beim tollen Frühstück fragen sie, wie es geht, wie man geschlafen hat und ob man was braucht) Auch sehr freundlich wenn man mit Hund kommt! (es gab sogar ein Begrüßungsleckerli) Es gibt auch einen Aufzug, auch wenn der eher klein ist, man muss nicht alles die Stiegen rauf tragen! Ich war jetzt schon das zweite Mal dort und würde es jedes Mal wieder buchen! ”

The breakfast was bountiful in a charming dining room overlooking the city. Award winning restaurant. Service was outstanding. Wish we could have stayed longer.”
