“The house is right on a cove of Lake Shasta. Beautiful views of the bridge reflecting in the water. We stayed three nights. We had a two year old with us and the listing said there was a travel crib. We couldn't find one and the owner delivered one to us that evening along with some nice bar soap. Beds were comfy and the sheets nice and soft. Kitchen was well stocked. Pool and hot tub were both used and enjoyed. BBQ too. ”

“If I could give this place a higher rating I would! This place exceeded my expectations of what it would be like. The peace and quiet was exactly what we needed for this get away! Perfect views, comfortable furniture and beds and just the great outdoors all in one! Do not believe the bad reviews left at this place, honestly the people who had a problem with this place are impatient and don’t know how to enjoy themselves. I’ve seen reviews of people complaining about spider webs here and there……

“Overall we had a really good stay and would stay again. The only issues we had were about some of the amenities. The pool table was one of the reasons we picked this house over others but it was unusable. A cheap table, poorly put together and not level at all. It was impossible to play a game. The hot tub was nice but the first time 2 of us got in it, it overflowed and immediately shut off. We went underneath the deck the next day to see what happened. “The property was gorgeous and the view from the deck was breathtaking. Living near a major city with all the light pollution that comes with it, I don't get to see the stars much. I loved laying out on the deck at night, looking at the shooting stars and the Milky Way. The beds were comfortable and the rain shower was a great way to wake up. The only complaint is the book full of rules that wasn't mentioned in the listing. There were a lot of rules. ”

“We had a large group of family/friends stay at this place for 4 nights. There were several adjustments we had to make to be comfortable but it was an overall positive stay. Although we knew there was no a/c, it was 105 degrees when we arrived and the home was around 94 degrees inside which was too much to handle, so we had to open all the windows and hang out outside until it was cool enough at night to come in. Also there was no ladder to climb up to the top bunk bed and there was a 74 year old……

“Super easy contactless checkin/check out with newly remodeled rooms. Beds were comfortable with great pillows. My only snafu was trying to use the microwave only to discover it wasn’t plugged in! Had to move the shelving unit to plug it in. Also, would suggest a pocket door for the bathroom that encloses the area with a sink instead of the tight bathroom door that encloses the toilet/shower.”
