“Ely’s place was great. Was there for 3 nights with 4 adults and a 3 year old. Everything about it was excellent. The house is comfortable. Very clean. Beds, linens, towels for bathroom were all comfortable. The living and dining room space was plenty for 4 adults and a kid. We enjoyed the board games and assortment of toys for kids. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you should need for basic cooking. A big east facing window lets on a lot morning. Light and beautiful view and……

“We had an incredible time staying at this property while on vacation with another family to enjoy skiing and sledding near Mt. Shasta. The house was very clean and well maintained. The kids (ages 4 - 6) LOVED the pacman and foosball games downstairs. We loved that the house was well appointed compared to other vrbos we've stayed at (favorite details included measuring cups and tupperware for cooking and food storage,, end tables with built in outlets for easy device charging, a rolling clothes……

“The location was perfect, walking distance to food. The house was very clean, well decorated & very well stocked with stuff. I loved how much thought went into stocking this house. Would definitely stay again. Host was also wonderful to communicate with.”

“If I could give this place a higher rating I would! This place exceeded my expectations of what it would be like. The peace and quiet was exactly what we needed for this get away! Perfect views, comfortable furniture and beds and just the great outdoors all in one! Do not believe the bad reviews left at this place, honestly the people who had a problem with this place are impatient and don’t know how to enjoy themselves. I’ve seen reviews of people complaining about spider webs here and there……

“Perfect place for big group of 16. We have rented this place twice now and have had a great time both stays! Has everything for a big grout of guys or a few families. Everything is just nice enough to not worry about breaking something. Pool is too cold for October though. A heated pool would make the place even better. We will probably be back a some point.”

“We loved staying at this throw back in time mini castle. I was in heaven with the classic vinyl and arcade games. A perfect peaceful location. A walk to the brewery behind the house. Trees and a walk to the sac river. Absolutely loved it and will be back. ”

“The property was gorgeous and the view from the deck was breathtaking. Living near a major city with all the light pollution that comes with it, I don't get to see the stars much. I loved laying out on the deck at night, looking at the shooting stars and the Milky Way. The beds were comfortable and the rain shower was a great way to wake up. The only complaint is the book full of rules that wasn't mentioned in the listing. There were a lot of rules. ”

“The house is right on a cove of Lake Shasta. Beautiful views of the bridge reflecting in the water. We stayed three nights. We had a two year old with us and the listing said there was a travel crib. We couldn't find one and the owner delivered one to us that evening along with some nice bar soap. Beds were comfy and the sheets nice and soft. Kitchen was well stocked. Pool and hot tub were both used and enjoyed. BBQ too. ”

“The house was great, it had everything you need. The only thing that needs to be more specified is if there is a water filter or not which at the end was no a big deal we could get water in the convenience store. The house has towels, plates, silverware, spices, coffee, pots, pans, washer and dryer (detergent also), a lot of games for entertainment. We will definitely be back ”
