“It was a fun experience to stay in such a unique spot. My teen and I enjoyed the kayaks at sunset. And waking up to that view was lovely. Our hosts had a lot of nice touches with the coffee station, snacks and nice bath products. (And while the location is a little unusual, road traffic wasn’t really too bad with the air conditioning on.) it was really cool to stay right on the water in a former fishing cabin, while still being easily able to explore Swansboro, Cedar Point and Emerald Isle. ”

“We had such an amazing stay! The house had everything we needed and more. We loved spending evenings on the porch playing games, sharing meals, and watching all the boats go by from the dock and porch. The kayaks were perfect for little adventures, exploring nearby islands, and discovering the sand hills—our kids especially loved running up and down them! Morning coffee at the coffee bar was such a treat (K-Cups or ground), and we made great use of the grill and outdoor shower after our days……

“The place was just beautiful. Nice size rooms, interior decor was really nice & clean. The hot tub was really nice & clean & great great to lounge in .My family & I would love to stay here again in the future. My dog also loved running around in the large fenced in yard. We love that house was only 15 mins from the beach. Our main reason for staying at this place was it was close enough to spend time with my grandson who is stationed near by in the Airforce. “This house was perfect for our family and accompanied our two flats boats easily. Parking was a bit tricky while we got unpacked, etc but the owner of the restaurant next door was very pleasant to work with. “Just love the sweet village of Swansboro, the Sunday evening concert was a great ending to nice stay, the State Rooms have best seats for Bandstand!On another note, the hair dryer does not work. I was disappointed that no TV OTHER THAN STREAMING WAS AVAILABLE. I did not bring passwords etc. Basic TV is minimal in my opinion. A special alert of this prior to departing for trip would have made me bring passwords.”
