“It was perfect for a much needed "sister getaway" weekend. Host did a good job of keeping us informed of policies and procedures and was in contact when needed. The deck overlooking the lake was awesome. Heard the loons every morning and watched the swans every day. The hide-a-bed had a super comfortable mattress. We were hoping to make a fire in the fire pit outside and/or the fireplace inside but never did - just ran out of time. Would love to come again and stay at least one more full……

“Overall a very nice home. Has everything you need. I only gave a 4 on cleanliness because we found some sunflower seeds in the couch. And there was green toothpaste on the wall in one of the bathrooms. But we really enjoyed our stay. ”

“The Bear's Den is a darling place to stay on a vacation. While the bedrooms were on the smaller side, the living areas had tons of room to relax and move around, which is where it really matters. The furniture was comfortable (my personal requirement), the kitchen was open and spacious, and the dining room had plenty of room for playing cards or having a meal.The rooms had super comfortable twin beds and bed linens. “Property was very clean when we arrived. I sent the owner a question on the Sunday before our stay and he responded in about 1-2 minutes! I didn't expect that. Property was stocked with everything we needed... pots, pans, utensils, glasses etc. I would definatley stay here again. We stayed 4 nights and had a great time! ”
