“This Berkeley Cottage is located in a quiet neighbourhood with a nice shopping area nearby. It was the perfect place for us to recoup and enjoy some downtime while exploring the East Bay. We appreciated Patty’s hospitality and the parking space she made available to us.”

Part of the reason we choose to go with a vacation rental instead of a hotel is so that everyone can have their own sleeping space, but we also value a nice space where we can gather and hang out together. The living room was perfect - such a comfortable and charming room whether we were watching TV, playing a game, or eating a meal. Just a short drive to Napa for restuarants and wineries. Highly recommend!”

“The house is very spacious and in a nice neighborhood. The neighborhood is nice to walk in and very close to pastures with cows milling about. Quite pleasant. Very well suited for families. Not a party house but a family house. The kitchen has quite a few cooking supplies such as pots, pans, and serving bowls. We rented the house over the holidays and it worked out well for family gatherings of eight people. The host had a number of nice touches like snacks, coffee and soft drinks……

“We found the property to be a bit musty. We also noted that the neighborhood seems to have some issues with short-term rentals; a neighbor expressed their displeasure because our presence caused their dog to bark.Overall, the property did meet our basic needs.”

“This house was just right for our weekend stay. It was walking distance to restaurants and the university. The house was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The only thing that was missing was a full length mirror.”

“The owner was quick to respond and checked on us when the power went out. The alarm system was a bit of an annoyance. It chirped our whole stay, even after we replaced the battery in the smoke detector. To be fair we did not contact the owner with this complaint. We were so busy with funeral services that we just did not have the energy. Also the dishwasher is in need of some attention ”
