“This was a great vacation, the on-island staff were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. They had kayaks, paddle boards, & toys. The sandy beach is a great hub of the island. Thanks for a great time!”

“Garden Island is a beautiful spot for a family getaway. The island is secluded yet easily accessible, and the availability of canoes, kayaks, and paddleboard makes it even easier to enjoy the area. The staff and other guests were all friendly and helpful, it feels like a community, and even the dogs were all well behaved. The Willow apartment was not very clean and is pretty run down, but it is comfortable enough to provide a home base and launching point to enjoy the island and region. We got……

“The property itself, along with the staff were fantastic! The island has great trails, and our dog had a blast. Getting to and from the island is pretty smooth - ferry drivers were usually ready in a couple minutes time. Couple things to note - the check-in information we received was a little sparse relative to other stays via VRBO. If you're used to getting an access code, you won't for this property. And teh driving directions, while good once you've got your bearings, are not great for……

“This was our second stay at Yarrow Cottage. We were there for two weeks and loved being there. The main house is a rustic Adirondack experience and the separate studio house provides space for friends or relatives to be steps away, yet totally private. Lake Champlain is just a short walk down the driveway! Will definitely stay again. ”

“Wonderful stay here in Ticonderoga for a family wedding! The property was charming. The front porch was so welcoming with comfortable wicker furniture. The house seemed to be recently renovated, and with very good taste. Good parking, very clean, modern roomy kitchen, comfortable, cozy living room, beautiful bathrooms, spacious bedrooms with super comfortable beds. We loved having our morning coffee on the back deck. Highly recommend this lovely property!”

“Place was great but owner should state upfront that there is no WIFI and NO cell service. Kind of needed the WiFi to plan out my vacation plans and not having ANY cell service whatsoever made that impossible. Place was In Great shape , VERY private , driveway was extremely steep making towing my trailer up it a little sketchy. But other than those two issues place was great! ”
