“Perfect location, close to The Barn wedding venue and great communication!”

“House is greatl, location is great. Downstairs/basement is much colder than the upstairs whenever the air conditioning is on. In addition, Vacasa runs the property and only provides a “starting supply” of certain products like toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, and trash bags. Plan to bring/purchase additional supplies.”

“A spacious house in a good location, 30 minutes from trailheads in Keene valley and 10 minutes from shops in Schroon. Paradox Lake is great for swimming, kayaking, and fishing; lots of wildlife--loons, heron, beaver, deer, heron, and even an eagle sighting. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, good wifi (even by the beach). Host was very responsive. Only significant negatives were the lack of an outdoor shower or hose to clean off sandy children and no lake-side access to the house.”

“This place is absolutely perfect. Very cozy and clean. The property felt remote, the bed was comfortable and the host was very responsive to any questions. Very happy with this rental and a great place to relax after long days of hiking, which were all within close proximity to the house. There is a close town nearby with a grocery store and gas station, to pick up your s'mores supplies before heading home to relax by the fire and listen to the river.”

“What a wonderful place. The cottage ‘Margot’ was a great place to call home during our visit to Westport. The pictures of this place convey an accurate image. Margot is the my definition of a rustic cottage on the lake. The cottage has simple but efficient furnishings and well functioning infrastructure. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Though we didn’t cook, the kitchen has all the necessities. We made good use of the refrigerator and the laundry. The Wi-Fi worked……
