“House was perfect. We stayed with our adult kids and grandkids which was us and three families. We were visiting family in Middlebury and it gave us a good sanctuary in between visits. I enjoyed morning walks while some enjoyed runs on the college track practically in the backyard. Easy walks to a nice bar for drinks one evening. We enjoyed a scenic walk with my parents around downtown Middlebury. ”

“Beautiful home in an amazing location and setting - having the dock for our boat was fabulous and the bay is stunning. House had everything we needed for our 3 families with 6 children total - we cooked 3 meals a day in the kitchen which was very well equipped and fantastic. The outdoor sitting and dining area was so lovely and we enjoyed a lot of time out there. Movie room for the kids was so special and fun. The house had a great supply of beach towels which was a very thoughtful touch. ……

“What a wonderful place. The cottage ‘Margot’ was a great place to call home during our visit to Westport. The pictures of this place convey an accurate image. Margot is the my definition of a rustic cottage on the lake. The cottage has simple but efficient furnishings and well functioning infrastructure. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Though we didn’t cook, the kitchen has all the necessities. We made good use of the refrigerator and the laundry. The Wi-Fi worked……

“We stayed here for two nights. We walked in to Middlebury downtown where there are shops, restaurants, and museums. The house is beautiful, modern farmstead style. AC for the heat of the summer, and heated master bath floor, which is welcome year round. Lovely mornings and evenings on the porch watching birds on the river. ”

“This home is beautiful! Kitchen is well stocked, the guide tells all you need to know and what you need to bring. The dining room was by far my favorite place to gather for meals and also to play cards and other games! We had loads of fun. The different seating areas around the house had perfect spots to have coffee, read a book, watch a movie. Beds were very comfortable. Grounds are spectacular! ”
