“Quaint 1970s style wooden building nicely decorated - they even had a turntable and albums (in addition to the bluetooth speaker). The upstairs loft overlooking the living room is just as pictured. The bed was comfy if the pillows could use an update; they were a bit too flat and lumpy for our liking but it's really our only complaint. “We loved our stay so much!The property is private, although you have neighbours they can’t be seen from within the trees property The private dock was awesome and we spent so much of our time on it. “The property and cottage were well maintained and overall we enjoyed our stay. The ad stated that there would be an additional charge for pets without a value. Upon reaching out it was not clarified and ended up being $75 per dog on arrival. It would be appreciated if that was communicated prior. Our initial greetings with the host were rushed and there were errors with the wifi connection effecting our payment. The host persisted that I must use another form of payment while standing outside……

“This is a beautiful cottage, clean, spacious and has a good size property with many trees which allows for privacy. The waterfront is beautiful, walk in shoreline and a dock. I would definitely stay here again. The host accommodated me and made sure everything was scent free which is very nice because many rentals say it will be scent free but isn’t. ”

“We just spent a relaxing week at Sandwood Cottage on 3 mile lake. The cottage was lovely- newly renovated and well equipped for a relaxing stay. That was our goal. The area was picturesque and located very close to Port Carling, Huntsville and Bracebridge. We will definitely be back -especially since we found Taylor Farm Market for my daily Americano!! ”

"On Sep 12th, at around 11:30 AM, In the outdoor swimming pool, my son saw a snake in the pool, very scary for my son, also no any staff working around swimming pool. Very scary memories for my son, he said he couldn't want to swimming again."
