“Used this as base camp for bird hunting in the NMW for a week in October with my dad and his dog. Was a perfect spot to crash at the end of long day in the woods. Comfortable at night, even had the luxury of the TV to watch playoff baseball at night, and the sunrises were amazing every day. Eric was very welcoming of the dog and very quick to answer any questions. Would tell friend s a stay here again.”

“My Family had a small reunion at Portage Lake. The cabin ended up being the perfect meeting spot. We had dinner there every night. The grill and burners outside were perfect for a clambake and grilling. We sat by the fire pit, with the children fishing, riding bikes and making smores. “It was just what we needed for our visit. We were traveling for my mother-in-law’s burial at New Sweden Cemetery and this house worked out just perfect. “We had a wonderful experience. Great location close to grocery and live bait. When we arrived everything looked great. Check in procedure was easy and communication was excellent. Internet wasn’t working when we arrived, likely weather related from high winds and bad weather the previous day.
