“Words do not do this hotel justice. The view from this 16th Century Fort, that has full, modern amenities, was beautiful. The courtyard that houses a cocktail & wine bar, along with a local food truck, was a perfect way to finish the day after walking throughout Lyon. The staff was extremely helpful, and the breakfast was a lovely spread of local ingredients. There is a beautiful, outdoor breakfast area, that overlooks the Rhone river valley. Excellent, excellent and beautifully unexpected!”

“We stayed 2 nights Crowne Plaza Lyon - Cite Internationale, overall experience was excellent. The rooms are new/in great condition, beds are big comfy, the staff are also very friendly and helpful. There's also a very big park nearby. The only disadvantage is that it is a bit further away from the town center. We took a bus to and from the town center, and it was around a 15-20 min ride. You can also choose to cycle into town since there is a bike rental system near the hotel.”

“Villa Florentine was nice but not as upscale as some of the other Relais & Chateau properties I have stayed at. The room service breakfast was not very good and overpriced. The layout of the suite was difficult with the bed upstairs and the bathroom downstairs. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly.”

The transportation details provided by the hotel is so clear that I was able to arrive the hotel easily by public transportation without any issue. In addition, the hotel staff are very supportive and willing to assist, which make my stay relaxed and comfortable. ”
