“Great Hospitality”

“I met an owner of a condo on premises while fishing on the pier. Best time ever. Met other visitors/owners and all were so friendly. My condo was nice and clean. Great view of ship channel. I had the things I needed. The towels really dried the water off me after showering. Loved them, lol. I really enjoyed the recliner and wall mount TV because it moved. The office was great after an unexpected issue with the code to get into the condo. The weather was no good, but when the sun came out……

“Two days before check in I was checking on the site to see what kind of coffee pot was available for use. Then I see that my reservation was canceled! I frantically tried to get help. Chat was no help. Finally reached customer service was told that reservation was canceled due to me not doing a verification. I was never sent a verification email. I had to frantically rebook, so glad it hadn’t been booked by someone else. Then I was told that I had cancelled it. Just a big mess thru VRBO. There……

“It was clean - not perfect - but clean. Nice clean sheets and the bed was more comfortable than the bed I slept on at the Grand Hyatt the previous week. VERY nice, very helpful people work here! If you need something, they will do their best to help you. Make sure you know if you are getting a room in the hotel or one of the condos. I thought we were in a condo, but since the hotel room had a refrigerator, a microwave, and a toaster - it was fine! Lovely warm pool and hot tub. Practically……

“The house is in a perfect location to everywhere you’d want to quickly and easily get to in Port A, and beach access is right next to the property! The house has everything you’d possibly need and more. The garage is converted to a game room with tons of games and activities and it also includes a full shelf of beach equipment. If needed, it still allows for golf cart or small car parking. Every space is well-equipped and comfortable. The upstairs patio is a perfect place for morning coffee and……

“We were looking for a place walkable to the beach or not too far driving distance, comfortable and clean. Not to mention at a fair price. We've been to Port A many times. We just go as a couple and don't ever split the accommodations expenses with anyone so we are price conscious. This place checked all the boxes. If you want something more " luxurious" you will pay more. However, this place is as described, has a friendly host/ owner with good communication. The blind in the bedroom peeked in……
