“The Lawford was a lovely place to stay in Malindi. The 3 bedroom villa and private pool were amazing. Large upstairs and downstairs lounge areas. Lots of space for everyone. There was a full kitchen with all the pots, pans, utensils etc. Service was great. Staff were delightful. Had fun with pool and table tennis. We would live there, if we could! Our neighbors were a bit loud but management tried to help with the situation. The beach is close but the water was brown and not “inviting.”……

“The property is quite nice with some level of privacy which is really amazing, great value for money!The location is very convenient,15 min drive from Malindi Airport ( depending on the roads condition ). We had some low points though ,like blackouts -very disappointing as food in the refrigerator got spoiled on two occasions!, edge reception upon checkin , irritating beach boys, and NO PRIVATE BEACH! also the air conditioning system wasnt working most times. “Liked: The staff were very professional and polite Disliked: Booking and payment had been done online but was still made to pay in cash at the facility, by instructions from the owner (the reception staff were however, very polite and patient while I tried to contact Expedia during the check-in process.
