“Instead of our usual day trips to Mentone, we decided to stay overnight. This tastefully updated bungalow was a welcome retreat for a long weekend. We found it to be pristine. The neutral country French decor was the right balance between rustic and refined. So relaxing! Before our arrival, the owners provided welcome suggestions for some new dining experiences outside of Mentone and Ft Payne. There is a sidewalk conveniently located outside the house, for a short walk to town. Communication……

“We have stayed at Moonflower many times. Every visit is wonderful. The house is always clean and welcoming. The fireplace makes everything so cozy. Appliances and bathrooms new. Beds are comfortable. And the house is within walking distance of Mentone Market. Highly recommend!!”

“This is our second time to stay at this wonderful, relaxing cabin. The outside to the inside screams relaxation. This time we were able to meet the host, they were wonderful. We will be back. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at The Garden Cottage. It certainly lives up to its name! We loved walking the property and seeing the beautiful plants and a little wildlife. The location is excellent because it is close to town, Brow Park (gorgeous sunsets!!), and DeSoto Park. The cottage itself is adorable and the perfect size. The kitchen was a dream come true and I enjoyed baking in the double ovens.. the living room is comfortable, the bathroom was plenty big, and the beds were very comfy. We hope……

“Enjoyed immensley”

“Place and view were beautiful. The pictures dont do it any justice. It was cold but was still able to fish. Hard to throw from the dock because the poles are close together and a 7ft ceiling but doable. Killed half a day in Guntersville just walking through all the shops. Was a good time. The mattresses were hard as a rock would be my only complaint but everything else was fantastic. Owners are right next door but they just said hello and was about it. Would stay again”
