“I can’t say enough about this property. It was excellent in every aspect. Amy gets an A for this one. She communicates very well with her guests and is extremely responsive to any issue that may arise (coffee maker quit working one morning and she had a replacement to us before noon).I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for quiet, peaceful and restful stay in Mentone. The screened porch was wonderful. Thanks again Amy and I hope to be back soon. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at The Garden Cottage. It certainly lives up to its name! We loved walking the property and seeing the beautiful plants and a little wildlife. The location is excellent because it is close to town, Brow Park (gorgeous sunsets!!), and DeSoto Park. The cottage itself is adorable and the perfect size. The kitchen was a dream come true and I enjoyed baking in the double ovens.. the living room is comfortable, the bathroom was plenty big, and the beds were very comfy. We hope……

The place was thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need—except the food, of course—which made settling in so easy and comfortable.My husband and I are both avid anglers, so having access to a private fishing dock was a huge bonus. We caught plenty of crappie—enough to enjoy a fresh fish dinner during our stay and still take home enough for a couple more meals!The host was incredibly kind and went out of their……

“This cottage is exactly what you expect a southern lakefront carriage to be. The space was perfect for the 6 of us. Each couple had a bedroom and there was plenty of space to sit and visit or share a meal. The back porch overlooking Lake Guntersville is screened in and such a wonderful place to enjoy nature with a good book. Parking was not an issue either as the driveway is long and had plenty of room for our three trucks and two boats. This is our second time booking this property and we hope……
