“Great place for quietness and peace!”

“Make sure you get travel insurance, this host will not let you cancel for any reason! The location is awesome, house is very dated but clean and big! We had an issue with a kayak sinking, thanks to a life vest turned out ok, please bring life vests if you plan to use the boats. The listing is old, lawn games, ect were not there. Host was very responsive if you need anything.”

“Our stay at Huron Horizons was fantastic! We spent the first week in November there, and we had a wonderful relaxing time. The cabin itself is beautiful, and the kitchen had nice pots and pans, cutlery, dishes, and appliances. They had every kitchen gadget we looked for, which was great. Also, this was the cleanest place we’ve ever rented. The windows have spectacular views of the lake, and the furniture was comfortable. We loved watching the sunsets over the lake from the chairs in front of the……

“Wendy is an amazing host! She was in communication with us before our stay and gave some great recommendations on hikes. She went above and beyond in preparing the space for our family—with treats and toys and entertainment that everyone enjoyed. The house is in an awesome location with a great backyard if you want to stay in, or several awesome spots within walking distance (Burns Beach is a 15 min walk and the Lumberjack Tavern is a 5 min walk). There are several great hikes within 15-20……

“Our son, a Mich Tech student, met us here for a long weekend. We have stayed here 3 years in a row now. It's perfect for us. The home is clean, close to everything in Marquette and has a fenced in yard for our pup. We enjoy the hot tub, the keurig, breakfast from Huron Mtn Bakery and the sunrises over Lake Superior! A perfect stay!”
