“Located at the end of a dirt road along the lake, this cozy home leaves little to be desired. It’s off the beaten path and provides seclusion as well close proximity to the wide variety of wineries and towns in the area. The host was wonderful; calling before our arrival to ensure there were no questions, and informing us of a temporary power outage the day we were to arrive. The home was well kept, fully stocked, and clean upon our arrival. The Finger Lakes is one of my favorite vacation……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We found the place to be very family oriented with lots of things to do at the cabin from games to a hot tub. We enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen and sitting out on the beautiful deck overlooking the water. We were lucky in that we had beautiful weather for December!! My son in law enjoyed snowboarding at Bristol. All in all, a great place to unwind from the holiday season!!”

“What a beautiful home! Perfect location to enjoy the lake views, go wine tasting, and just relax. I was so happy that it was still decorated for Christmas as we were looking for a place to spend a few days after the holidays decompressing but still enjoying the break. Be sure to bring ANYthing you'll want to cook with though that's considered a food item. No oil, spices, salt and pepper or saran wrap/foil at all. “The view is breath taking . Unfortunately the couches and bed were extremely uncomfortable. All of the beds are very worn and thin. The springs jabbed into my hips and back all night. My mother in law is 70 years old and she didn’t get much sleep in her bed because of the same. The bedroom off the kitchen has a door that leads into the living room. The doorknob to that door falls off and you have to turn and pull tediously in order to open the door otherwise it falls off and your stuck. While……

“We had a great time! Amazing deck! Beautiful location. The only thing I would warn folks about is the steepness of the stairs to the property - there are a lot of stairs and they are pretty steep. ”

“Beautiful property! Easy access. Nicely decorated and fully stocked with amenities. However, due to the awkward layout, we would have been much more comfortable with privacy window treatments in the front porch area. Also, the shower floor is EXTREMELY slippery. We would definitely rent again. Hopefully with those 2 issues addressed. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely cottage with us!”
