“This place is, in the best possible way, a blast from the past! A nice, quaint roadside motel with a mountain vibe! Great views of the Catskills from the small hill where there’s a fire pit and Adirondack chairs for relaxation and lounging. Re-read Rip Van Winkle after a fantastic dinner at Deer Mountain Inn as it got dark looking upon the mountains where the story took place. Picturesque and perfect! Had the entire motel to myself and it was so nice, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful……

“Beautiful unique lodge in the mountains! Lovely staff, super fun games room, tons of amazing hiking, delicious coffee. Fireplaces and soaker tubs, comfy beds and birds!! Truly loved it:) We are plant based and survived and they helped / oat milk and overnight oats were appreciated. My only tiny note is you could hear cars from the patio so its not dead quiet but pretty quiet:) Would def go back!!”

“Checking in was a breeze. The place has almost too much to do: wonderful small kitchen, reading nook and extra bed, indoor fireplace, large walk-in shower, king size bed, outdoor reading chairs and outdoor dining table, pizza oven, hot tub, sauna, and other amenities. Would be a great place for a couples getaway. We were surprised there was only one bed. With the large spaces and numerous amenities, it would be great if there were dedicated beds/bedrooms for at least 6 people. We would……

“I was only here for 1 night but it was a lovely experience. The staff is very nice and answered all my curious questions, the VIEW is one of the best you’ll find in the Catskills. The air purifier and sound machine in the room was a very nice touch! Things I have at home so nice to have at a spot away! ”
