“We were in Longview for a family gathering. This house was a great space - upstairs and down - beds for everyone (had 9 adults, 2 kids). We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening but when we came in for dinner and/or just hanging out talking, there wasn’t enough seating for a large group. That would be the only negative.”

You'll have to be prepared to climb the stairs to the bed and the Internet was slow, however we overall enjoyed the "tiny home" living experience. “We were exploring the area for ten days. We made it to Merlwn,Yale and Swift reservoirs, Astoria, Seaside and Mt Hood, Bonneville dam and fish hatchery plus three trips to Columbia Outlet in Selwood and a bunch of other shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed the cottage and the BBQ. The beef, sweet corn and fresh fish are far superior to what is available here in Costa Rica. My girls were impressed an didn't want to come home. We had one fire in the fire pit. My wife idoes not grasp the campfire……

“I visited with my daughter and 11 month old granddaughter. The studio was very cozy and had beautiful views of trees and a small river. The wood stove already had wood waiting for us to be lit, which was perfect on a rather chilly night. We just learned not to leave the fire on for too long, because the stove puts out a lot of heat and it can get too hot to sleep at night. Our son is the owner of Mister Goose Sandwich shop and while he was working we enjoyed walking the shops on the street. Could not have asked for a better experience. The views were gorgeous ”
