“Cozy, clean, calm, cottage with canoes! We stayed here once two summers ago and my son asked us about it this year, prompting us to plan another getaway. We booked two nights for us and our friends with their toddler. We spent the whole time in or around the house or the beach, relaxing. Kayaking on the river and seeing the goats are highlights each time. Renfu is very hospitable, answering all our questions and keeping the grounds tidy. “It is a beautiful stone house , situated on the St. Lawrence, with the most amazing flower gardens. Multiple exits at the back, with lots of different seating areas to enjoy the view. Or enjoy the hot tub with a constantly shifting view. Really enjoyed the flotilla of sailboats, near sunset, on a flat calm river. It doesn’t get any better. “This property is on campground & it’s not worth the price to rent this place. I had no way to communicate with the owner for check in. Even the number they provided wasn’t even working. Don’t get fooled by the picture. When we got there, property wasn’t clean. Bathroom was dirty & someone left their used soap on tub. Beds are horrible. No internet & while we were staying at the property, manager told us that next morning they won’t have power & water. So basically we have to leave early by 8 am……
