“This was our second time staying at Bluegrass Palace. This was for our annual staff retreat for Bolts & Quarters Quilt Shop in Parkersburg, West Virginia.”

“Property was as described but the description about plenty of room for parking was misleading. We had a 44 ft fifth wheel and without expertise driving you won't get your rig near the house. The turns are too sharp and tight in either direction of the road. We had to go past the road up to the hospital on the top of the hill all the way around to get the rig turned around to come back down the hill to get up the the road to the front of the house. When we left we had the back back down the road……

“We highly recommend (group of 8) We stayed right after Hurricane Helene had passed through the area. Our home owner made sure we had everything we needed to make due while the communtity dealt with a few power and water issues. She went above and beyond to make sure we weeetaken carw of. ”

“The home and linens were clean, plenty of living space. The house is like walking into a time capsule of your grandmothers home. Very small bathrooms, drafty window AC units still installed in late November, old TVs. No grill outside was disappointing. Tight single stacked parking. There is another small house on the same lot with multiple vehicles coming and going, combined with the close neighbors and there is limited privacy and no outdoor space.”
