“LOVE Dragonfly Cottage. It’s our 2nd time staying there with family, but first time in the summer. The lake was delightful, surprisingly not much boat traffic, & grandkids loved jumping off the dock. Hoping to return again next summer!”

“Loved this little cabin! Christy, our host, was extremely communicative and available throughout our stay. Check in and check out process was very easy to follow. I stayed with my husband and labrador. Plenty of room for just the three of us with, a small yard space for the dog. The cabin was a really convenient to walk into Bryson City. We will be back to visit! ”

“Bears, birds and butterflies, OH MY! Truly a storybook cabin. It’s tucked into the forest and surrounded by wildlife. We saw 3 bears, one walked up while we were sitting by the hot tub. That was exhilarating! Zero interest in us. Hummingbirds right outside the big living room windows which are shaded by the surrounding tall trees. A tree had fallen in the driveway when we arrived and the owners were quick to get someone to remove it. Extremely informative direction with pictures. The drive in is……

“Oh we fell in love with the Cabin immediately, the location is great, and the drive to the cabin just GORGEOUS with Scottish Highland cows and beautiful Lucy green rolling fields to look at with a pristine little mountain creek along the way. The mimosa tree by the house was in FULL bloom, along with the Hibiscus, hosta and day lily blooms creating a gorgeous backdrop for the cabin! “We loved this house! Beds were so comfortable. The hot tub was great. There were tons of games and toys for the kids to play with. The area was close enough to town to be a short drive but far enough away enough to be secluded and private. We had to contact the rental property once about the electric fireplace but they responded so quickly and came and fixed it. He was so helpful and very courteous. “This cabin was amazing! The bed was comfy. Lots of room in the cabin with nice little touches. Especially loved the fairy box! Cabin is at the end of a dirt road and is very peaceful, and close to neighboring towns for groceries and dining, as well as the tail of the dragon. Host is very responsive and friendly. Would defining stay again!! ”

“My husband and I visited the Firefly to celebrate our marriage and we had a lovely time. It’s the perfect place to cozy up with a good book near the fire. We also brought our dog, and she probably had more fun than we did running around the yard. Overall, a great stay and we would absolutely come back. My only suggestion would be getting some new cooking utensils because the ones provided are a bit melted and chipping.”
