“We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage. It had everything we needed and the owner was very helpful with a list of activities and places to visit.”

“This house is a clean home suitable for a fishing vacation. The bathroom is a little small, and we noticed it had a sulfur smell. We did buy water to use for cooking and coffee pot.The parking area is small also. It was a tight fit to park a truck and boat. Otherwise, everything was fine.”

“The beds were comfortable, the house had everything you need including the kitchen very well stocked. Normally you have to purchase a lot of small things for a vacation house but this one had everything we needed. ”

“Plenty of space for 9 people. Hot water tank was huge! Lol Our grandsons enjoyed the game room, hot tub, and fire ring. Host was awesome and very prompt with his replies. We had a great stay! Would book again!”

“I came for fly fishing around Bryson City. The cottage is on Deep Creek. I fished several streams and rivers. Love the town and the area.”

“Absolutely the most relaxing vacation ever. The lake was beautiful, the house was clean and exactly as described. The tail of the dragon trip is right down the road. We did hiking trails in the seven island state park which were a must see. We saw a black bear in the GSMNP. The frogs singing every night at the lake house and the birds singing every morning….. just perfect relaxation. I caught large mouth bass from the dock, caught the same in the John boat… absolutely perfect. Campfires every……

“This is a place that feels like a home away from home - with some very cool perks. The waterfall and creek on the property sets the ambiance with both the sounds & views. The hot tub was wonderful for both cool mornings and evenings. Each bedroom has its own heater, window unit AC, ceiling fan, & tv. Windows open to the waterfall which is great. We stayed in October so we were using heat at night and no AC. The heat in the house is different in each room. We read the reviews about the mix of gas……

The area was close enough to town to be a short drive but far enough away enough to be secluded and private. We had to contact the rental property once about the electric fireplace but they responded so quickly and came and fixed it. He was so helpful and very courteous. “Amazing historic cabin on a great property. There is a rec room, laundry, and firepit all within a short walking distance. Also TWO trails on site. We travel a ton and this cabin had the best “notebook” of anywhere we have stayed. To a of local information, cool history of the cabin, and helpful tips for this historical space! The only thing to be cautious of is the only bed is up a ladder style staircase that is very steep. They note this in the listing, so it wasn’t a huge surprise but……

“Amazing views, lots of fun splashing, and Chris the owner was AMAZING with any help we needed! Cant wait to come back!!!”

“The cabin was clean and covered the basics. The bed was not very comfortable and the AC unit did not cool the entire house well. The bathroom in particular stayed very hot. It was okay for a quick and cheap stay, but I wouldn’t want to stay more than a couple nights. We did enjoy the hot tub and appreciated good communication from the office when needed. ”
