“This place was perfect for our family group of 7 adults and 3 children.Plenty of room to spread out. We could be upstairs and cook, eat and hang out or be chilling in the basement playing pool or watching a movie.Home and kitchen was well stocked and even included complimentary coffee! The two sets of washers and dryers for laundry in the basement is a great idea for larger groups!The owner was easy to contact and was very helpful. Apparently the previous guest may have lost or misplaced the key……

“We absolutely loved our two day mini vacation to Iowa. Our daughter turned 14 on Monday August 4th and we spent the day at Adventureland having a blast and the fun continued when we were back at Jessica’s house we rented. This house is kept up very well and was so cozy to spend time in. It is very obvious how much care goes into this rental for their guests! It was also extremely easy to communicate with our host, Jessica. We Will definitely stay here again if we are back in that area for any……

“We stayed for a week and had such a wonderful time. The home is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and the photos are a perfect description. While we were there we saw fireflies, an owl, bunnies, a doe and fawn, chipmunks, squirrels, cardnials, and many others birds. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. We absolutely would stay here again.”

“We had a fun time staying at this house. We visited downtown Des Moines and had a great time at Adventureland. The only suggestion would be to have some dish towels in the kitchen. The arcade games, ping pong table and skee-ball were popular with the kids. ”

“The Babes loved EVERYTHING about the Love Shack. Tiffany is an amazing host and very easy to communicate with - so responsive to requests and questions! I think she is quite possibly the best VRBO host I’ve worked with. The property is inviting and just joyful. The neighborhood is lovely and safe! Next door neighbors even offered us candy and goodies! How fun is that?! Close to everything we wanted to see! Definitely would recommend. And Des Moines is a fantastic city!”
