“We had a fantastic stay at the Gothic Church. It was a cozy getaway outside of town. The shower was warm with good pressure. We voted the upstairs bed the most comfortable on our trip! Carmel was a fantastic host with so many ideas about what to see and do, and gave us great recommendations for restaurants. ”

“We are an adventurous family who enjoys a unique stay, even with a bit of inconvenience, and this property is memory-making. Please note that we would still have stayed, even with the items following. There is a huge gap between the main door and the walls and it is not just chilly, it is pretty cold. Make sure to bring layers and buy plenty of wood. The fire and Aga stove helped a lot and there is a space heater on the third level that worked well. Our daughters were on the mezzanine level and……

“Bansha Castle was better than the pictures!! It's large, yet cozy and comfortable. The expansive yard was such a treat for our grandchildren and the back courtyard was a perfect retreat...even in the rain! We could not have asked for anything better!! I would absolutely stay here again. Added bonus....The hosts-John and Teresa- were amazing! ”

“Wow! What a place. The pictures on the listing looked pretty incredible, and in person was even better! My family and I loved the castle. I think the location was great, in that we were able to take day trips and see a number of places on our list (Rock of Cashel, Cahir Castle, Blarney Stone, Cliffs of Moher, Kilkenny, Kinsale, Killarney, Dublin). “ This castle presented old world elegance and charm while teeming with 21st century amenities. A perfect blend of both worlds! The house and accommodations are absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. We wanted for nothing. We were a group of 9 and had plenty of room to spare. Each person had a fabulous time. The host Eileen was on top of everything. She was very responsive and helpful. We had a few questions to which she provided spot on advice. Our entire family fully recommends……
