“As this is a self check-in it would be most helpful to have a three-ring binder listed with items such as “how to” use the peat stove, turn on the hot water, turn on the heat, identify the wifi code. There is a binder filled with bar and restaurant info but what I recommend is different. I did email the host about the wifi code and he let me know it is posted near the TV. As I don’t watch TV I did not think to look in that space. I wanted to try the peat stove as on my Dingle Way walk I saw……

Our host Ann was very friendly and helpful, and truly went above and beyond what we normally experience when renting a property.”

We took walks to the nearby beach escorted by their dogs, we cooked and reconnected by the wood stoves, and we visited friendly towns nearby. “Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. Every shower had mold and mildew (and gross amounts of caulking) and mine included a sliver of dried bar soap complete with black speck inside the soap dish. The pillows were the kind you might……

“This cottage in Annestown was a lovely place to stay. Quiet, peaceful and a short drive from Tramore and Waterford. A short walk to the beach and to Dunhill Castle. Would highly recommend and stay again!”
