“As this is a self check-in it would be most helpful to have a three-ring binder listed with items such as “how to” use the peat stove, turn on the hot water, turn on the heat, identify the wifi code. There is a binder filled with bar and restaurant info but what I recommend is different. I did email the host about the wifi code and he let me know it is posted near the TV. As I don’t watch TV I did not think to look in that space. I wanted to try the peat stove as on my Dingle Way walk I saw……

“My husband and I used this as our base for exploring Southern Ireland and it was perfect. The hosts were super sweet and a pleasure to talk with. They even helped us figure out our charging converters, called up to one of the local spots for us to get dinner and offered plenty of suggestions that ended up being some of our favorite visits. We loved the central location that gave us easy access to Killarney, Waterford, Rock of Cashel, and many other adventures. The views are breathtaking! Walks up the lane were refreshing.We had perfect amount of space for 6 (easily could accommodate 2 more). We enjoyed sitting around the table together at the end of the day, playing games (provided) and talking. Cottage is decorated……

“Cannot say enough good things about this little cottage. It’s excellently located to all the best attractions in Kerry, and it’s perfectly situated in the country but close enough to Castleisland to make getting groceries and going to the local pub easy. The caretaker, Timmy, built a fire for us twice and a local man gave my Dad an autographed book of his own poetry. Absolutely perfect accommodation for a family trip.”

“This is a wonderful place to stay with a beautiful view from upstairs bedrooms. Gorgeous town and area. Loved the hot tub!Small negative points: we only received the address 10 minutes before check in time which was frustrating; and only one shower can be used at a time which was tricky with 5 people staying there. ”
