“This hotel far surpassed my expectations. The staff were SO nice and helpful. The room had great AC. There is a rooftop terrace for breakfast with great views of the bay, and a nice common area with a balcony, which again has great views. The property has 4 stories which means many of the rooms have views too. It's also basically as central as you can get. Highly recommend. Amazing value.”

“Se lo recomendaría a cualquiera que venga a Ecuador por primera vez. Después de disfrutar de Puerto Aoya en las Galápagos, se puede entrar en contacto con la vida de los lugareños en el restaurante y supermercado Bellavista. El hotel se encuentra en un lugar tranquilo y relajante. Para llegar a Puerto Aoya, recomendamos alquilar una bicicleta y coger el autobús de vuelta al túnel por 50¢. El personal es amable.”

“The staff is absolutely amazing. So very relaxed and helpful. The breakfast is a full bery tasty breakfast and the woman preparing it is wonderful. They even sent us off with a bagged lunch when we left earlier than 7am and had light crackers and cookies available throughout the day. Location is very convenient. They even have a separate area accessible to guests on the waterfront that we found to relax and read. I highly recommend but if you have difficulty with stairs I would suggest not……

“We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. The service was top-notch, and they made us feel welcome throughout our stay. For a fee, they conveniently arrange transportation to and from Baltar Airport, which made our trip even smoother. “We loved everything about Lava House. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The owners were incredibly welcoming and great hosts. The breakfasts were also wonderful. “There was a hammock in the room - we loved it. Overall a great stay. The staff was friendly and the space was comfortable. It was difficult to get a taxi to the pier in the morning and the walk isn’t too far (15-20 min) but we had heavy bags so it was inconvenient. Other than that it was a nice place to stay. ”

“What a perfect way to experience the Galapagos islands! So happy my wife and I chose Semilla Verde Boutique Hotel over a hotel in the town. The grounds are wonderful. We walked the paths and saw the tortoises multiple times per day. It was an easy 10 minute taxi into town for tours, restaurants and other activity when we needed it. But we loved the quiet and tranquility at Semilla Verde. The pool is refreshing. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The coffee is grown on the property and makes……

“A great hotel with beautiful amenities. Town is about 5-10 min walk away. They also have lounge, bar, outdoor pool and outdoor hot tub. Very beautiful setting with indoor and outdoor seating and free continental breakfast. The breakfast was buffet style and EXCELLENT! ”

“This hostel is on the edge of town. Very clean , large rooms. Shared small fridge in hallway. TV only in Latin American. No where to dry wet bathing suits /wetsuits , I asked and was told there's no real facilities. It's a good breakfast and there's mineral water free near reception. Although No free tea/coffee facilities. Overall ok .”

“A estadia no hotel foi otima, funcionarios simpaticos e prestativos, bom cafe da manha, quarto funcional. A unica coisa ruim é que fiquei em um quarto da frente e no sabado a noite tinha um show festa, musica alta que me atrapalhou pra dormir e eu tinha um voo pela manhã... talvez devessem colocar janelas anti ruido na parte da frente? No mais, foi tudo bem”
