“We had a wonderful time at Casa Luna House. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We loved the outdoor spaces and it worked out well for us to have the separate rooms downstairs, it gave my daughter and her partner privacy while I was upstairs with her teenagers. The only issue I had was that the coffee pot was unusable. The wet coffee grounds hadn't been removed from the previous guest and it was covered in mold. A through cleaning was needed. “Set in a jungle angle like setting , yet very well maintained, friendly staff, beautiful plants and sounds on birds And monkeys especially in the morning.10- 15 min walk to beach 20-25 to grocery store . Tuk tuk is very affordable if you don’t have a car . Grocery Store delivery free if you spend $50.00 or so . Lots of local restaurants within walking distance. The road up is a bit rough. ”

“It was only a couple of nights - but what a gem of a place! The first thing you see coming in the gate is the lush & gorgeous tropical landscape - all the greens with pops of color from the flowers - even cacao pods! There are various outdoor ‘rooms’, spaces to sit alone or together - magic when lit at night. The kitchen is well appointed. Easy to cook. “The place is gorgeous and the owner and his in house staff were very very on point. They was one major factor that needs to be addressed. There is 67 stairs from the ground to the top floor where the top bedroom is. We had our mother who’s in her 80s. I’m in pretty good shape, but it was difficult. There’s two people that didn’t come. They were also in their 80s with a bad back. Would’ve never made it up to the kitchen, which was about 10 steps left. I wish we could’ve seen the reviews, but it……

“We had the most incredible stay at Casita Tucan. Starting with the check in process- so smooth and the hosts were extremely accommodating letting us leave our luggage in the main office before check in so we could go explore. Staying in this house is an experience unlike anywhere else. You are quite literally in the jungle. “We really loved the house, the staff on site who helped us out with laundry etc and the owner who was very nice and responsive. The house is right across the beach so we were super excited when we arrived. But the next day (Saturday) there were tens of cars and many many people showing up. The beach was so busy we couldn’t even go. Lots of music too. We were quite surprised as we didn’t expect this. We did go to Cahuita park the next day and it was very nice and quieter. Both Saturday and Sunday……
