“Our family had a quick stay cation over the weekend and we had a really nice time just hanging out with one another either at the pool (which was heated) or on the beach. Typically, our favorite vacations are simple, which was what we were able to achieve. We had fun with food trucks in Kahuku, ate in "distinguished" luxury at Turtle Bay resort restaurants, and just a nice time in a very nice environment.”

“Overall we had a good stay, the property location is amazing, and accommodations were good. A few things that could have been better: the A/C can’t be turned below 72, so if you like to sleep in cooler conditions that isn’t possible. Also, when the A/C turns on it is very loud, so it woke us up when it would run in the evenings. Also, the built in microwave wasn’t working so they put a small countertop unit in the kitchen which took up valuable counter space (kitchen is small), so if you like……

“Well stocked kitchen, location is wonderful. Luxury is a bit of a stretch to describe it. It was cozy and comfortable enough for 2 people. Not sure how up to 6 people could stay there though. We didn’t have any issues or problems other than repair/construction right outside the lanai (but that’s temporary). Cozy is what to expect. ”

“The cottage itself is the second story of the two-story unit. The inside is very attractively decorated Hawaiian beach motif. It hadeverything you could need in a beach apartment with chairs, towels, umbrellas, body boards, etc. masks fins. snorkel. The apartment itself is a bit of a sauna, it’s soaks in that sun and with the humidity of the beach it is very warm and sticky. The owner has yet to fix two windows that would allow more Breeze into the apartment, I really hope she fixes them now……
