“The pictures of the place look cute. When we got there we were horrified! My family and I arrived to the property, and discovered the 3rd "bedroom" was a refinished garage without heat! It was 40 degrees that night. We also found mouse dropping in a different bedroom. We travel with pets so we had no other choice but to stay the night. We didn't arrive until after 9pm. When we woke the next morning there were cockroaches in the kitchen. We called the owner right away. He knew about the roaches……

“The river cottage was close to family we were visiting in Destrehan. 4 of us stayed including my infant nephew. Check in info was provided early the day of our arrival and was so easy. There was everything you could need including snacks, laundry and a pack’n play for my nephew. The place is so put together and just adorable. The beds were so comfortable! Would definitely stay again!”
