My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already making plans to revisit Hoover Cabin with additional family.Host was very attentive and accommodating. “I wanted to celebrate my 50th in my favorite spot in Oregon. The Whiskey Rock Cabin did not disappoint. The cabin was beautiful, clean & cozy. We enjoyed cocktails on the deck while watching the river roll by and cards in the evening next to the fire. My only complaint is we had to leave it behind to return to reality. We had a great time and will definitely be back. ”

“A very peaceful, serene setting right by the river. The cabin itself is quite charming. Outdoor shower (overlooking the river) is wonderful. The owner (Steve) was friendly and helpful. The WiFi reception is very very sketchy. We loved our stay.”

“Okay place to stay, secluded neighborhood without much going on. The property does sit above the highway, so be prepared for a lot of traffic noise during the day, especially early morning. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone without an SUV for gaining access in and out of the driveway, steep and narrow entry. The bedrooms and bathroom lacked any privacy curtains, so we had to get creative with towels to cover the windows.”

“Beautiful and unique setting within a short little walk to the McKenzie River. Our Cabin was next to the little creek that flows into the River about 100 yards up. Booked Nov, 30-Dec, 2nd.”
