“The cabin and entire property are very clean and maintained. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already making plans to revisit Hoover Cabin with additional family.Host was very attentive and accommodating. “The river cabin was clean, full of light and had all the necessary amenities. The deck and sound of the river was a huge bonus, as was the quiet neighborhood where we rode bikes to the general store and could easily access MTB trails, hikes and hot springs.”

“This trip was very relaxing. Nothing fancy but exactly what we needed. Wood stove was great and the sound of the rain on the river was so soothing.”

“We enjoyed the sound if the river from the back porch enclosed in screens. The firplace set the scene for a nice snow filled trip. Very close to store , restaurant, and hot springs”

“Overall it is fine cabin. Kitchen was updated. Getting heat circulated in the cold weather was difficult. Space heaters would have been nice especially since the heat is located only in living room and kitchen areas. There was one but it did not work. Anyone with mobility issues would have issues at this house as the stairs going upstairs (to the nicer bathroom) are very steep. Little kids would be a challenge as the stairs would be scary for them to use. Plenty of beds for everyone but if……

“Very lovely house. The only thing we did not like was the deck was in the sun from 10:00am - 7:00pm. It was hot and could not enjoy the deck. Could use an awning or some umbrellas.”

“I wanted to celebrate my 50th in my favorite spot in Oregon. The Whiskey Rock Cabin did not disappoint. The cabin was beautiful, clean & cozy. We enjoyed cocktails on the deck while watching the river roll by and cards in the evening next to the fire. My only complaint is we had to leave it behind to return to reality. We had a great time and will definitely be back. ”
