“We will never forget our experience at the Stalheim Hotel. It is old world and wonderful! Walking into the room was like walking back in time. The colors, the fabrics, the furniture, and the bathroom were from another era. The beds were very cozy and comfortable. The view from our window was breathtaking. It was hard to pull ourselves away from looking out over the amazing mountains and valley below. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the large dining room. They offer a very large choice of……

Frokosten var god med et bredt utvalg, og det var lett å finne noe for både voksne og barn. Fasilitetene på hotellet er imponerende – spesielt innendørs lekeland, som var et stort pluss for oss. “LOVED this property!! We had our own cottage and had a waterfall that we could see out our back window. The staff were great! The bathrooms were across the driveway, but doable. The meals were delicious!!”

“This is a mountain lodge - rustic conditions outside, but you'll find a very comfy bed on the inside. Stayed in the hotel and had two twin beds with comforters. I am hot-blooded so the Comforter was a bit much for me, but my wife was cold with one, so she asked for another. Shower was excellent and powerful! Dinner was excellent and the breakfast was a Nordic continental. Cured Fish, Cold Cuts/Cheese, H.B.Eggs, cereal, fresh fruit, home baked bread and jams, etc. Healthy and it will keep……

“We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. It was super clean and with a great kitchen. Really liked the swimming pool, restaurants and the bakery of course. Highly recommend for families with kids. ”

“We stopped in Geilo because of the way back to Oslo from Bergen. We knew nothing before arrival but we finally knew that it’s the great place for skiing. After our arrival, we checked in at 7 or 8 pm but the staff still told us the necessary information. The room is spacious but the interior of the ground and underground are in progress of renovation. “Location was excellent, many rooms, including the dining had views of the magnificent waterfall. Pleasant staff. Dinner was delicious, presentation very good, served by a friendly lovely waitress. Breakfast was tasty however no hot food. Historical information and artefacts to view whilst roaming the communal rooms. The bed was older but still comfortable. Perfect location to explore the waterfall trails, Easy free parking. ”
