“Ne vous y méprenez pas, l’atout de cet hôtel réside dans son agréable piscine, propre et à l’eau naturellement chaude. On pourrait aussi parler de son curry agréable. Pour le reste, nous avons été franchement déçus et pourtant, nous ne sommes pas particulièrement exigeants. L’hôtel ne semble plus vraiment entretenu. “Belle chambre spacieuse pour 5 (2 adultes et 3 enfants) avec 1 lit king, 1 lit queen et un lit simple. Salle de bain complete et propre. Belle piscine ombragée même si l'eau n'était pas tres limpide. Nous etions totalement seuls aussi bien au diner qu'au petit dejeuner ce qui nous a étonné etant donne la taille de la structure. Personnel très disponible. Le petit-déjeuner quoique complet et très ordinaire et pourrait être de meilleure qualité. ”

“The property is a newly built house, great design, very ill maintained. Smelly blankets, no bedsheet between the blanket and your body. Uncleaned rags in front of the bathroom. No tea-coffee and hot water kettle in the room, no water bottle in the room. I paid $43 for my stay, seems there are better options nearby at half the price.”

“A notre arrivée, l'hôtelier nous a dit qu'il n'y avait pas de réservation à notre nom, qu'il venait de racheter cet hôtel et que pour pouvoir y dormir, il fallait annuler notre réservation auprès d'hotel.com (ce qui était impossible sans perdre les 60 € déjà payés car il nous demandait une annulation pour le jour même) et qu'ensuite, il fallait le payer en espèces le prix de la chambre (environ 45 €). Sans moyen de contacter Hotel.com car 4h du matin en France, nous avons préféré quitter cet……

“Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer war sauber und gepflegt, ebenso das Bad – alles wirkte ordentlich und gut gereinigt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das freundliche Personal, das jederzeit hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend war. Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel, das wir gerne weiterempfehlen!”

“Beautiful surroundings, tucked away on the Lakeside as the name suggests. Nice quiet and peaceful. A little bit of a walk into the centre (15-20 minutes), but also possible to wave down a tuk tuk once you get to the main road (about 150 SL rupees to the clocktower). The rooms were big and clean. I'm a solo traveller, but was given a room that had two double beds, aircon and a ceiling fan. The shower was hot during the day, more by accident than design. I think that the water came from a black……
