“Gorgeous, isolated chateau surrounded by Lodi Wine country. Home was large, spacious, and immaculate. Well appointed home even with separate wine and champagne glasses!! Dream kitchen, and even in the bunk-room there were high end memory foam beds. Backyard was spectacular with poor, spa, and pickleball court all in good working order. Fire pit and covered al-fresco dining area were bonuses! Among the best places I have stayed, and I have rented >20 homes over the last few years….”

“Wow! What an awesome place! Our property manager, Anna, was very responsive. Easy to get to. Wife and I played their cornhole game they have on site. Played a few provided board games as well. And of course spent time in the hot tub. Very clean interior, well kept exterior. And they have a complimentary welcome basket! We got a free bottle of wine for pur anniversary dinner! ”

“Overall,everything was great. We rented the house because my daughter was getting married in Mokelumne Hill that weekend. The house was the perfect size and had plenty of room for all of us. The pool table was a big hit! ”

“Overall a lovely stay, the house is comfortable and well supplied. Beds and bedrooms excellent. The fire pit and decks looked so inviting but we didn’t have time to take advantage of them.The only glitch was that a friend in a small car got stuck on a gravel path near the house. The property manager was very responsive to all my questions, and specifically agreed that the driving directions needed to be more specific. Use the paved driveway!”

RedSmith Ranch is a large estate in a quiet, farming town that has ample space to relax, both inside and out - plenty of gathering spaces on the main level, enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate our large group, and beautiful grounds surrounding the house. Activities outside included a basketball hoop, table tennis, an archery set, and bocce ball, so there was plenty to do for the adults and kids. We had the whole property to ourselves, so it felt like we owned our own family……

“Pleasant house near lots of great hiking trails. If you plan to cook, be ready and bring your own things. For example, your own kitchen knives, theirs are extremely dull. Bring your own ground coffee as the existing grinder does not operate and the pod coffee maker does not have directions and we could not make it work. Several pans in the kitchen were not washed (put away dirty, likely by other renters as the rest of the house was clean and tidy).”

“We loved the house! It was absolutely perfect for what we needed. Super cozy and cute. The decor was top notch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I will say it’s longer hike back after a night on the town though the last hill really was rough ”
