“Driving down the Main Street of Shenandoah, you wouldn’t have realized there was a modern hotel in the century old buildings. I wasn’t impressed with the LED night light built into the hair dryer. Made it very hard to sleep. I was impressed with the breakfast, cleanliness and safety. ”

“Hotel was very new and the room was excellent. Many things were top notch in the room: self-closing dresser drawers, beautiful mirror with built-in lighting at a touch in the bathroom, very clean. Free Breakfast was very good. The only drawback to the hotel during our two night stay is that you sometimes need to use your cellphone to call the number posted on a sign at the front desk to have someone come there to assist you, e.g., check in.”

“Scam!!! They say they’re all booked up and only have a king bed available - when we were the only ones there. They only have one room to use. No towels. Office guy took me to laundry- only to get washcloths. He told another guy to go in the room next door for towels. That room had dead cockroaches on the floor and live crawling ones on the bed. We obviously left immediately. Didn’t turn in the card in the rush to get out of there. .Can not reach anyone for help. They give out fake……

“I really enjoyed this house. It is old and has quirks, but it is fully functional and was very homey. Everything that you need for a long-term stay is here. My favorite feature was the kitchen, which is the best equipped one I've seen in a short term rental. Plenty of high quality pots and pans and other accoutrements. The house may be older, but all of the appliances and the bathrooms are new. The neighborhood is quiet and there are blackout curtains in the downstairs bedrooms. Easy 30 min……
