“If you like being out of the way Afternoon Cottages is a great jumping off point for adventuring. It is well equipped and very clean. It has a great price point and very basic. It worked great for us because it was simply a place to cook dinner and sleep. You have access to all the necessities about 25 minutes away in Hella. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.”

“Very nice cottage. Comfortable with all desired amenities. Great place to get away and feel closer to the surroundings. Only caution is on warm days, the cottage has no AC and can get very warm.”

“This place was so cute! Woke up in the morning to open the blinds with horses outside my window. Be sure to call to get the code for the lock box that your key is in. We showed up when it was dark. I was not completely sure which cottage was mine, but figured it out because it was the only one with the lights out. My other tip would be to pack a towel if you plan on staying here.”

“The door is broken can’t lock whole night in middle of no where, no one help check in, no air ventilation need to open window , a lot of bug and mosquitos sleep with you. Where is the spa pool shown in the booking website?”

“There is a reason this house consistently gets reviews of 10 – it is because it deserves it! First, the views are awesome. Both from inside the house, and while in the large hot tub. Lots of sleeping space, lots of living space. Kitchen was well stocked with kitchenware. Property is exactly as described and as shown in the pictures. Excellent communication with the owner (Heiðrún).We had originally booked this house in 2020, but due to the pandemic we needed to cancel. We were very happy……
