“由於入住當日打大風，行車道封閉，不能在周邊行車觀光，整體住宿不錯，有煮食設備，駕駛到達小屋，用密碼取匙。如果天氣好應該可以觀賞極光，當日打大風，不能離開小屋，入住時最好在附近超市購買食品，否則沒有餐廳。”

“Stayed 3 nights at this fantastic place, which is perfectly located for day-trips around the southern part of the island. Cosy cottages in as-new condition, fully furbished kitchenette was perfect for cooking meals, slept like babies in a large double-bed and twin sofa (very easy to unfold/fold). Very friendly couple running the cottages and the horse farm next to the cottages. Upon arrival we were invited to see the horses next morning, and we had a closeup experience with the horses, in and……

The town is Selfoss is just a few minutes down the road and in the other direction, all the splendor of the south coast waterfalls await. The house is very clean and well outfitted for a comfortable stay. I plan on returning to this property.”

“Nous étions 4 adultes et 1 adolescent et nous avons passé 8 nuits à Stekkar Lodge en février 2025. Tout est parfait dans cette location ! Elle correspond en tous points à la description. Très bien équipée, rien ne manque ! Cerise sur le gâteau : les aurores boréales 4 soirs de suite sans bouger de la terrasse ! Le jacuzzi le soir après une journée de visite est un pur bonheur. La communication avec Jon a toujours été facile et rapide. L'Islande est un Pays magique. Séjourner à Stekkar Lodge……

“I have nothing negative to say about this property. They have thoughtfully equipped the house with everything you could possibly need. The hot tub is a bonus and we used it to watch for the Northern Lights every night. All communication before and after arrival was answered very quickly. The setting is gorgeous along the banks of a river, a view enjoyed through the large glass windows. I would highly recommend this property even though it's a bit of a drive from the city. “The door is broken can’t lock whole night in middle of no where, no one help check in, no air ventilation need to open window , a lot of bug and mosquitos sleep with you. Where is the spa pool shown in the booking website?”

“I loved this cottage and was so sad to leave! I have never stayed at such a comfortable and cozy place. We arrived late at night and it was such a breath of fresh air walking into the cottage. Everything was just perfect. The beds and bedding were so comfortable. We were close to the golden circle and south coast so a slow exploration of the area was possible. ”

“Beautiful home, great location, loved the sauna. Only 2 of the 3 beds were made before our party arrive so we had to hunt for the extra bedding but non issue in the end. Great coffee, shower and heated floors awesome! Highly recommend ”
