“Aurora igloo was an amazing experience. It was so quiet, the scenery was serene and one had plenty of privacy. The bed was comfortable with fluffy down comforters and a mattress warmer. The location is a short distance from landmarks like glaciers, puffins and waterfalls. A few restaurants, gas station and grocery stores are also a short drive nearby. Just up the street is Hella Caves, which was a unique tour here. ”

“The apartment was comfortable, clean and spacious. The kitchen was perfect for our needs. We requested an early check in because of our elderly relatives and management was accommodating and helpful. Great location if you are looking for a quiet, out of the way space!”

“Very spacious, clean/spotless/new, and comfortable. Excellent view and peaceful area. Kitchen had everything we needed. The washer with built-in dryer was very convenient. WiFi worked great. Always had hot water available. Had regular coffee maker and Senseo coffee maker. Owners were great telling us what we need to know about the property (like how to fill and drain the hot tub). If I return for another Iceland trip this will be my first choice to stay at. ”

“We had 8 in our group. The 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were perfect! We were comfortable and enjoyed the kitchen, including many appliances. Kids loved the chickens, playground, ground installed trampoline and the bunk beds! The view ia spectacular. Peaceful and serene. ”

“This unique building has very high quality furniture, bedding, and towels. Even robes are provided. The hot tub in the back yard is a highlight. Lots of windows let in the epic Icelandic landscape. When the wind pics up you feel cozy and comfortable with every convenience. There is a full sized washer AND dryer (great for families). The gas station is a 10 minute walk away and has all the basic groceries you need along with a small diner. If you are in the area, this is a great place to stay. ”

“While not the flashiest or most "Instagramable" stay of our trip, it was my favorite. Felt really homey, so close to the sweet sheep, very spacious, and the hot tub was incredible. Highly recommend!”
