“Perfect home - in particular we loved the sauna, hot tub, steam room. Location perfect for all the attractions on the Golden Circle. Wonderful friendly people. Do try the food halls, perfect for kids who do not want to eat what dad and mum want! We will be back….”

“We hebben een heerlijke en actieve week gehad. Na een drukke dag vol activiteiten en wandelingen, was het heel fijn 'thuiskomen'. Wat een mooi verblijf in een prachtige en rustige omgeving. Het uitzicht en het terras met hottub was elke dag weer een cadeautje.Het huis is mooi, eenvoudig ingericht en zeer aangenaam van temperatuur. Het drooghok erbij is erg handig om na de hottub of een regenachtige dag de kleren te drogen. Voor 5 volwassenen zou een aparte toilet wel praktisch zijn.Het huis is……

“Wir waren jetzt bereits mehrfach bei Maja zu Gast, weil einfach alles passt. Haus, Umgebung, nette Gastgeberin (die Kommunikation mit Maja ist unkompliziert und schnell), Tips zu Ausflügen und eine persönliche Begrüßung. Man ist fast im Nirgendwo, aber dennoch ist alles in der Nähe. ”

“We went in winter time and loved the view from the house, shelling the beach, a soak in the hot tub with kids. It was a great midpoint between Reykjavík and Vik for all of your Southern Iceland / Golden Circle adventures. Would absolutely recommend! ”

“We had an amazing stay. The house was beautiful and had everything we need to have meals at home including cooking dinner. We had plenty of space for 2 adults and 3 kids. It was easy to find and a great location to get to tons of spots in the Golden Circle, day trip to the Katla ice caves, the lava tunnel, etc. The recommendation to the hike and hot spring was so fun- hard hike almost straight up hill but totally worth it for the views and soak at the end! The swimming pool in Selfoss was also……

“Greg and Magnea were amazing hosts. Their property is absolutely perfect for a big group like ours were. Plenty of rooms so you can spread the group out while also having big community areas to all hang out in. You could also spread out and have smaller group hangs outs as well. I could go on and on about how amazing this place was!”

“We had a very early arrival at the airport and asked if we could enter the property earlier. There was no one the night before so the owner said it would be fine. There was an issue with the combination on the key lockbox”
