“Overall we were happy with the hotel, in terms of meals and the service of staff members. Facilities could be better though. For example, it would be nice to be able to connect to the internet in the rooms instead of having to go out to the lounge area to use the WiFi all the time. The hotel is just about one year old, so the owner and his son are still learning to manage the business. The owner, a retired teacher, is a nice guy. His son was very patient and helpful, and speaks excellent……

“Really enjoyed my stay at Quick Sand. The staff were friendly and Ali was an exceptional host. He provided lots of valuable information and was often available to answer my questions. The place was always very clean and really well kept. The alfresco eating area was lovely. Would recommend QuickSand as a place to stay for those wanting a taste of a lovely local island.”

“The staff is very nice and helpful. If we needed something they tried to fix it for us. The food was very maledivian . But ok. The coffee was horrible. The waterpressure in the bathroom was very low. The room was not as advertised but big enough. It was ok”
