“Overall we were happy with the hotel, in terms of meals and the service of staff members. Facilities could be better though. For example, it would be nice to be able to connect to the internet in the rooms instead of having to go out to the lounge area to use the WiFi all the time. The hotel is just about one year old, so the owner and his son are still learning to manage the business. The owner, a retired teacher, is a nice guy. His son was very patient and helpful, and speaks excellent……

“This is the first time we visit Maldives as well as this resort. It’s not a big resort but like a small village. Staff are friendly and they could remember where you from and who you are (at least at room number). Don’t expect those “Sir” or “Madam”, as I believe they are trying to serve you like a friend from somewhere far away. We enjoyed the time in Veligandu with our overwater villa. “The Hotel was perfect. From the food to the very clean rooms, which they are cleaning every day. Also the beach was perfect which is directly in front of the hotel. The Hotel Staff was so nice and like a family with that you can speak the whole time. They are really caring about you and helping you in every way possible. The Island is also very beautiful and its also very safe and clean. I would definitely go again to Ukuhlas and to Rhantari. I also recommended it my friends”
