“We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are older probably could use some updating. Beds we comfortable and the room is clean. Dining options aren’t great but will do in a pinch or late arrival. No breakfast options as someone in a previous review said. They have stopped serving breakfast. No biggie for me. We would stay here again. Great price at the time of our trip. ”

“I love the Jacuzzi in my deluxe suite. I did not like the fact that I could not smoke in my room.”

“Loved the people and food. Beautiful grounds and so unique. The only suggestion is for the cleaning crew to use less clorox in cleaning the room. It was SO strong when we checked in we had to open all the doors. Maybe a less pungent cleaner. Thank you.”

“Beautiful and impressive mansion like staying inside a castle. I was impressed with all the antique furnitures. That was a treat for me. I was grateful for the talk after breakfast about the history of the place. Downside was that some staff services and the logistics could have been better. The hair conditioner bottle was indeed shampoo. My dietary preference at breakfast didn’t make it to the kitchen staff (or it was ignored/ forgotten). Staff Couldn’t find the key to my room upon check in. ”

“A beautiful historic home. Being able to tour it was fun. Our room was above the dining area so it was a little noisy. Our only complaint was the early dinner reservation. We had hoped to dine later but there were no time slots available. Yet, the dining room was only half filled at the later time when we left. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay. ”

“Liked the unique room although hot water wasn’t very hot. Wine and cheese was nice upon arrival but I think the host should have poured the wine. People poured large amounts. The sit down breakfast and tour of Duff mansion was lovely!!”
