“I stayed in Roxie for a solo, unplugged, disconnect-from-everything getaway and it was amazing. The cabin is adorable and cozy and Sherri and Joel thought of everything. There are notes all around the cabin and a binder thoroughly explain everything including the wood stove for heating, the composting toilet, the battery-pack-power situation. “This cabin is brand new, under three weeks old. It is in a very quiet area. ATV trailhead is just down the street maybe a 1/4 mile. We didn't stay here to ride the trails but to see family. Cabin has a queen bed, fold out (very comfortable) couch. Huge bathroom with shower/tub. Lots of storage. Kitchen with a big stove. The hosts were very communicative and responsive to questions. “What a great experience, we traveled through Maine and this was our favorite stop. Kent is kind and fabulous. Beds were great, the remote living was a dream. We chose to canoe in and that was the right call! Our stuff arrived on a boat. We saw lots of birds turtles and a bald eagle! It was awesome.”
