“We have stayed here several times and so love the convience of the beach and food. The rooms are nicely decorated and large BUT the beds are very uncomfortable. It pains me to say that because we absolutely love everything else about the hotel. Both my husband and I leave with very sore backs and his sciatica is horrible and he has only had problems with it when we stay at this hotel. If they put in better beds, this place would be perfect. ”

“We had a very nice stay here. Staff was great and the rooms are nice. The location is beach front with KKO restaurant (location for free breakfast and recommend having lunch there) providing chairs. Easy walk to the other restaurants in the Orient village. Great location for a relaxing beach getaway!”

“This is a tropical oasis on the beach. Beautiful gardens and rooms are very well kept. Ti Palm restaurant on the property is gourmet dinning on the patio. No problems or interruptions felt like we had the pool all to ourselves. Highly recommended. MERCI.”

“We very much enjoyed our stay, and I must say the staff is very friendly and helpful. For instance, I asked at the desk for ice and the lady went out of her way to find a bag for me free of charge. Only minor exceptions. They give you a gift card at check in that reads for 'One free cocktail' but the lady that runs the bar refused it and told my wife that is for 'the juice that goes in the cocktail, not for the cocktail'. The next day I asked the bar lady for a bottle of water so I could……

“We spent 4 nights at La Hibiscus. Really enjoyed everything about it. Florian gave us a free upgrade to the Jasmine suite. Large, comfortable bed, great shower and bathroom. Great terrace for sunning and looking at the mountains. We had the pool to ourselves which we loved. Very hands off approach by management which meant great privacy which we like. Only 5 minutes to Orient Beach….great choice of restaurants including a couple of breakfast places. Will definitely come back. FYI….renting a car……

“Lovely host. Fantastic communication. Incredibly accommodating, without having to ask. Offered us an early check-in and a late check out, as we were between houses and somewhat homeless. Great breakfast. Nice common areas. Incredibly safe. Bonus of a really comfortable bed, which is rare. This is a great place to stay a couple days. Unfortunately we were only here overnight, so we never got to enjoy all the amenities. ”

Property appears to be in need of renovation and updated maintenance. Stairs difficult without a working elevator. No ability to lock the sliding doors to ground level balcony. AC less than adequate - never got room temperature below 80*”
