“I would say it is about 650 - 700 sq feet cabin with the styling of a traditional old cabin but renovated to utilize every space like a NYC apartment. Everything is labeled, great view from the bedroom window, and while there is a road below, the traffic on that road is super minimal so it is really quiet. I enjoyed sitting in the bed watching the fog roll in on a rainy night through two bedroom windows. The living space outside of the bedroom provided all the comfort of a private living……

“The cabin we rented had everything we needed for a 1 week stay. The only thing I did not like was the dispensers for the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and dish detergent did not work. I guess that's one way to save money! The detergent dispenser for dish soap is mounted in the strangest place. The soap goes onto the lip of the countertop because there's not enough room to place your hand under it. Very strange. Small inconvenience!”

“We had such a great time at the Ginger Lodge. We were travelling with 4 kids and 2 dogs. The house was welcoming and clean, we found everything we needed and more. The kids had a lot of fun playing board games, darts. The pool table was everybody's favorite. The location was great too, in a quiet neighborhood very close to the lake. I highly recommend this property to any family or group of friends.”

Little touches abound like cookies at check-in, soft music playing through out the grounds and a toiletry kit (tooth brush, paste, comb, razor, shave cream, ear plugs (not needed) and a shoe shine wipe. The continental breakfast is not fancy, but of good quality. The fruit was fresh! The rooms are a bit dated from a technology perspective, the direct TV had a nice channel set up.
