“The upstairs unit with a loft is on the lake with an awesome view from the deck. Close to the village so we walked over for dinner or ice cream at the north pole. Not a newer fancy property but clean and a great value.”

“Check in was super easy. The cabin was very clean, and well maintained. The driveway is a bit tricky to get in/out of but nothing horrible, just something to keep in mind for those who are not comfortable reversing into/out of a slightly steeper driveway. The host is responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. ”

Well stocked. Bedrooms comfortable. Bathroom small and downstairs but typical for cabins in big bear. Did not use fireplace. Used hot tub. Heated quickly. was clean and easy to use/uncover. ”

“Everything was exactly how it was represented online. Communication was great and the hosts made our stay super simple. The upstairs was hot during the day but cool at night with the balcony door and windows open. The cabin seemed to be built for smaller people, as I am 6'4 and had to bend down in the shower and watch my head upstairs.”

“We had such a great time at the Ginger Lodge. We were travelling with 4 kids and 2 dogs. The house was welcoming and clean, we found everything we needed and more. The kids had a lot of fun playing board games, darts. The pool table was everybody's favorite. The location was great too, in a quiet neighborhood very close to the lake. I highly recommend this property to any family or group of friends.”
