“Rented Blackwater for my 40th birthday celebration. I couldn't imagine a better place if I tried. The home is beautiful, comfortable, and well-appointed. The arcade was beyond my dreams! The decorations for Halloween made it even better. We're already planning a return in the summer. Communication with the host was fast and reliable, and they added some personal touches for my birthday that were very sweet and definitely appreciated. The kitchen also had everything we needed! I'm in love.”

“Stayed for a long weekend with Family ( 8 adults and 1 baby). This home has the best views of the Lake and the Mountain. It will take your breath away when you first walk into the house. Check in was breeze and the house was exactly as described. The house has so much room for everyone. The dock is the best place to watch the sunrise- beautiful and relaxing! We hope to visit again. ”

“My husband totally loved it. My dog was very comfortable as well. We set up his bed from home in front of the fireplace and he was out like a light. We couldn’t figure out how to light the fireplace but it was all good because it was warm from the heaters in there. Definitely like to revisit in the summer months. ”

“We had a wonderful time at this property! All my questions were answered quickly before we arrived. There were a lot of things to keep us occupied during our stay with lots of family ranging from 9 months old to 65 years old! It's a little far from places, but the Mexican place down the road is awesome! My mom is in an electric wheel chair and she did great here with the accessibility and open floor plan. Very clean and just as pictured / described!”

“The home was as described and communication from the host was clear and extensive. The home was welcoming with a lot of unexpected amenities. My husband had a long bike ride on Saturday and it was exciting to see the grill so we could have steak, potatoes and broccoli. When I started cooking I discovered I forgot salt. My husband quickly pointed out the salt, pepper and other spices he had found. It was the most delicious dinner. Unfortunately we had to leave out very early on the last day of……

“Perfect size for our group. Enjoyed the infinity game table and the hot tub the most. Plenty of room to spread out with the two living rooms. ”

“This cottage is so cute and the perfect spot for a low key, relaxing vacation. We spent most of our week swimming in the cove and sitting at the table on the huge screened in porch. Chris and Joey were so helpful and responsive when we reached out. The only thing that would make this property better would be a dishwasher but it wasn’t a deal breaker for us. We will definitely be back! ”
