“The outdoor property is very pretty, about 10 acres, lawn kept, I would see deer there every other day. The house is older and is need of updates, but it suited my needs. The house has no central air, but the 3 window units kept it cool enough, though it necessitated the use of a fan to keep the bathroom floor from getting slick when weather was very humid outside. The host, Claudia was very nice and always communicates promptly.”

“My husband and I stayed for a few days between Christmas and New Years. Although the weather was not ideal, we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation! The rooms were very comfortable and spacious, the kitchen was perfectly equipped for cooking the delicious local produce, and the bathroom was luxurious. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and we loved learning about the farm. We would look forward to staying here again or visiting the other BNB location at Smith Mountain. “We had a great stay in this cottage. It was perfect for 2 people. They had supplies you always forget to pack including shampoo/conditioner! The best part was having good coffee from a keurig!! It was hands down much better than a hotel and waking up in the wooded area and seeing deers in the morning was so great! Communication was quick with owners as well! Thank you!! If we are ever in that area again, I would absolutely stay again. 🙂”
