“The outdoor property is very pretty, about 10 acres, lawn kept, I would see deer there every other day. The house is older and is need of updates, but it suited my needs. The house has no central air, but the 3 window units kept it cool enough, though it necessitated the use of a fan to keep the bathroom floor from getting slick when weather was very humid outside. The host, Claudia was very nice and always communicates promptly.”

“My husband and I stayed for a few days between Christmas and New Years. Although the weather was not ideal, we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation! The rooms were very comfortable and spacious, the kitchen was perfectly equipped for cooking the delicious local produce, and the bathroom was luxurious. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and we loved learning about the farm. We would look forward to staying here again or visiting the other BNB location at Smith Mountain. “Cherry Creek Cabin is tastefully renovated and appropriately appointed. It is quiet, private, and conveniently located a few minutes from Meadows of Dan. The space is small but efficient. We were able to cook a nice Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen as it was well-outfitted with the equipment needed. While we didn’t spend a lot of time outside, there is a grill and fire pit area for outdoor relaxation. The owner is very responsive to questions and concerns, and they provided us with information……
