“We were in town for college graduation with extended family. The guest house was perfect for the older parents who wanted to retire earlier and not stay up all night talking with the rest of us. It was super clean and right behind the main house so they didn’t feel left out. How do I recommend. ”

“The property was absolutely beautiful as well as the interior of the cottage. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and taking in the sounds of nature. “I was initially drawn to this place because it seemed like the perfect space to feel at home while in between homes—and it truly delivered. The photos looked great, but being here in person exceeded my expectations. The space was thoughtfully stocked with everything I could possibly need (aside from groceries), making it incredibly convenient. The host was also fantastic—helpful, responsive, and welcoming throughout my stay. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”

“The neatest little apartment in the Danville River District. It was chilly during our stay but we took advantage of the location and walked just a short distance to a couple local bars/restaurants, did the river walk, checked out the farmers market next door and ventured to the casino that was only a few miles away. A spring or summer stay will definitely be in our future! ”

“This property is so peaceful and so many horses!! A perfect horse lovers dream! Julie is a wonderful host and everything about the studio was perfect. There were more amenities than I expected. I was visiting my best friend and if I need a place to stay next time I am in town I absolutely will stay again if Julie will have us! ”

“Perfect spot for a weekend stay in Martinsville. Our black tie event was at the National Museum of History so this location was exactly what I needed. The salon for my hair and nails was in the same building. The kitchen was equipped with everything I needed to prepare my vegan dishes. I hope it’s available every time I visit home. ”

"I like the staff at the front desk very much. Check-in is also very smooth, but the cleaning of the room is worrying. I was thirsty at night and drank only a little water left in my cup. I subconsciously glanced at the cup and then I woke up. There was a small cockroach in the cup. It was alive!!!! Then I couldn't sleep anymore. I checked my bed for cockroaches. It was terrible. And there were a lot of small cockroaches in the bathroom. I killed them before I went to bed. There were so many cockroaches in such a cold weather. This was obviously unusual. I knew that the price was already affordable. I didn't expect too much, but in the water Cockroaches really scared me. I can't imagine what would happen if I drank it. I hope the hotel manager should pay attention to this problem and can't imagine what the summer here will be like."
